Built from over quarter-inch thick BPA-Free Copolyester, the new Q-Series Sound Enclosure is now even more durable because it removes the flimsy hinge found on older models and replaces with a whole new fail-safe design. This enclosure comes standard with any Blendtec Q-Series Smoother blender but can also replace the one installed on older Smoother blenders. Because the pivot is now located 4 inches from the top (instead of at the top), the Q-Series enclosure significantly reduces overhead clearance requirements, allowing you to have shelves or cabinets as low as 15 inches above the countertop for in-counter installations (gasket recommended).
